Pembrokeshire's old Market Town and new Lifestyle Centrephoto: Narberth Town Hall, Narberth, Pembrokeshire

The Narberth Chamber of Trade is traceable to its resurgence following WW2 in the late 1940s; old minute books are lodged in Narberth Museum.

It is today a voluntary, non profit making organisation with well over 100 members. The Chamber wishes to encourage and support the town becoming a diverse, dynamic, distinctive and caring environment – entrepreneurial and successful.

It aims to do this independently, honestly and fairly whilst always remembering that developments have irreversible effects on the environment, the people and the economy.

The Chamber's intent is to achieve this by continuing to work with all of the town's organisations. The Chamber directly supports Civic Week, Narberth in Bloom, Narberth Food Festival and the Narberth Christmas lights. Narberth Chamber of Trade also undertakes publicity in the local press and contributes to many other initiatives to promote Narberth. The Chamber works closely with Narberth Town Council and Narberth Future Forum, whist liaising on local planning, traffic and parking matters by direct negotiations with the Local Authority and the Police.

We publish the popular “Shopping In Narberth” brochure promoting Narberth as a unique shopping experience. All Members are listed on this brochure.

Our monthly meetings are held every third Monday of the month in the Angel Hotel, High Street, Narberth at either 1.00 pm or 5.00 pm (please see list of dates in Chamber News). Minutes of the meetings are circulated by e-mail to members.

The membership fee is £30 per annum.
